Susan Nolte
Vice President of Finance
Joined the Civica Team in April 2013
Susan received her BS in Psychology in 1983. She started work as a bookkeeper for a small tech company in the San Francisco Bay area. She moved to Colorado in 1992 and again worked as a FC bookkeeper for a small tech company. Joined Caruso Associates (Civica's predecessor) in 1999. Has served as Civica's Director of Finance and is now VP of Finance. In addition, she served as a treasurer for COMSA (Colorado Masters Swimming Association) for 30 years and transitioned this role to a new person in early 2023.

Favorite Civica Value: Freedom and Responsibility. I like having the ability to set my own schedule to try and manage the work flow at Civica and not be micro managed. It is also nice to be able to take a break when needed and not be told you only have x number of days of vacation time, or to work at home when ill, and not get everyone sick.
Favorite Vacation Spot: Anywhere with a beach!
What I like to do in my off hours: Open water swimming, spending time with my family, and games with friends. I have 4 "grandchildren" ages, 9, 6, 5 and 3, two daughters and one niece who my husband and I became a guardian for when she was 14, and a wonderful husband, Chris. I have swum the Catalina Channel, English Channel and around Manhattan Island as a member of a relay team. So, I have done the "Triple Crown of Swimming" as a member of a relay team. Games enjoyed in game afternoons or evenings are Catan, 7 Wonders, Wing Span and Cosmic Encounters.
